Two founders from opposite ends of the same problem.

After many years in offensive cybersecurity and enterprise risk management, we reached the same conclusion from two different directions: organizations are going to suffer disruption. Not as a tail risk to be priced and filed away, but as a matter of when.

Prevention will always be worth doing. It will never be enough. This is the era of cyber resilience.

One of us found the way in for a living. The other kept the systems running that a Nasdaq-traded company depends on. Jestr exists for the gap between them: when attackers get in, you already know what it takes to come back.

Matan is an offensive cybersecurity researcher who came up through an elite cyber unit in the IDF. Years of breaking into networks taught him the uncomfortable part: getting in is rarely the hard problem, and almost nobody is ready for what follows.
